map

The town of Clisson is in the region known as "The Clisson Valley"  30km south of Nantes in Western France.

- 20 minutes from the airport of Nantes-Atlantique
- direct access from Paris by TGV via Nantes in 2h 30m
- access to the autoroutes A83 (Niort/Bordeaux) and A11 (Angers/Paris)

Clisson is very picturesque and is the major town in the area with a population of 6500 people. It covers an area of 1130Ha.
With easy access from the major routes to the sun, Clisson has an easily accessible campsite that makes a good stopping place between the Channel ports and the South of France/Spain.

It is an important centre for wine growing activities, the best known being Muscadet, and has many other industrial and commercial businesses. For further information see the Clisson websites at https://www.france-voyage.com/tourism/clisson-507.htm or http://www.mairie-clisson.fr/
